Miho' family's visit (from Facebook)

In a way that only God could have orchestrated, He arranged for Miho and her kids to come stay with us

She let me know just a couple of days before they came to Fukuoka for Kyohei's Open Campus visit and they had no definite plan as to how long they would stay. We played it by ear, they made a couple of adjustments to their schedules along the way, and they were able to stay a full 10 days!
The three of them cooked, cleaned, babysat, studied, built furniture and wood decks, and went shopping with me many many many times. Miho going shopping with me meant that I had someone to bounce ideas off of (other than Peter) and we were able to spend time catching up with each other too.
Miho was the first close friend I made after moving to Japan. We met at the kindergarten’s flower arrangement class, soon after Juhee started there. It was so nice to meet not only a bilingual mom, but also a Christian one too! We had so much fun at each other’s homes and spent so much time together during our first few years in Hiroshima.
It was so special having her and her kids here with us to celebrate this special day with us. It was also so loving of our Heavenly Father to bring a friend that I can communicate comfortably with and rely on completely during my time of need.
I’m so thankful that we were able to treat them to one nice meal for their labor of love before Miho and Kyohei went back. One precious child is still here with us and will stay to help us with VBS next week.
God is good.
