The Beater

 

“What’s that?”
“What?! You don’t know what that is???”
“No…”
“It’s a beater. It’s what you use to beat the futons with.”
“Oh~.”

A conversation between Alex, our property manager (www.abhousingosaka.com), and Jenny while he was showing us around the small apartment that we rented for four weeks on the day we arrived in Japan. We used it a few times to freshen up our futons with a bit of a beating and some fresh air out on the balcony. Peter very kindly offered each time. :)
