Happy New Year!!!

Dear Peter and Jenny,
May your 2009 have been filled with many blessings with all that overflows from being in Christ, and your 2010 continue to resonate with love, joy and peace in Jesus Christ.
We returned from Korea very encouraged through the new prayer and financial partners God has brought to us. We're getting some essential rest, enjoying sweet times of fellowship with friends and family, and taking care of some essentials like visiting the doctor and completing ministry reports. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
Blessings! Peter, Jenny, Juhee, and Baby Oh
Praises for 2009
2009 has been filled with God's blessings. Thank you Jesus!
In summary, we are healthy, we have had a roof over our heads and clothes to wear (even for Jenny during her pregnancy and Juhee with her growth spurts), and have had plenty to eat. Praise God! The only thing we lacked was for Jenny to get a really good night's sleep, but we don't expect that to happen for the next 5 years or so. ;)
As for preparations for serving in Japan, God provided us the opportunities to connect with over 30 churches and share of our journey to Japan at 23 Small Group Gatherings from May 2009 in California, Texas, and Korea. Through these connections God brought 226 Prayer Partners into our lives, and over 200 people partnered with us in either one-time or monthly financial support. Praise God!
Although we're not currently in Japan as we would have liked, we have been very encouraged and challenged this past year and know that He will send us there in His perfect time. Thank you for your prayers, your emails, and for tracking with us. We continue to expect great things from God as we attempt great things for Him in 2010.
Partnership Update
We have been blessed with 226 prayer partners who have committed to support us in prayer! If you would like to be a part of our prayer team, email us at peterandjennyoh@gmail.com.
We are also very thankful for the sacrificial giving of all of you who have helped us raise 100% of our needed Departure Fund, and 51% our Monthly Support (up from 42% last month)! We thank God for the new partnerships He has brought through our recent Korea trip and in the Bay area too. Thank you for partnering with us.
$3,000 Matching Donation!!!
HOT NEWS!!! A very generous Pathway family has offered to match new monthly financial partnerships up to $3000 for 2010.
What this means is that your monthly support will be doubled for this year (for new monthly supporters in 2010). In order to maximize their generosity, we are looking for 5 families to commit to supporting Japan missions $50 per month, which will total $250 per month (or $3000 for one year). Make sure you take advantage of this great opportunity to double your support! If you want more information, email us atpeterandjennyoh@gmail.com.
Danville Local Missions Event

Danville, California is a very affluent area but an area that is in need of hearing the gospel, very much like Japan. A family from Danville has started a local student Christian club called "Helping Hands for Christian Missionaries" and they are having a garage sale on Sat, Jan 30th in Danville to raise funds for Japan Missions. They will be collecting items on January 9th, 16th, and 23rd at a mutually agreed upon location. If you have any items that you would like to donate, would like to get involved in going door-to-door with flyers (picture), or have any questions, please email them at helpinghandsforcm@gmail.com. We are very excited and priveleged to be able to take part in this local missions event!
Every move I make

We said we were moving to Dallas, then said we're delaying the move, and then all of a sudden told you that we're in Korea. We've tried to be as discerning as possible as we follow God's leading, and sometimes we had to be very spontaneous. We've been on the move a lot these days which reminds us of the song"Every move I make I make in You".
We're currently in San Jose, California living in New Vision Church's Missionary Housing for the time being. We'll be traveling to Dallas from Feb 2-17 and look forward to reconnecting with our friends in Texas! After that we'll be back in San Jose and are hoping to visit SoCal too once we're back in CA.
As for March... Only God knows. :)
